Depend on which artery is affected, the area of brain tissue the artery supplies, and the amount of collateral circulation. Most common is weakness or paralysis in face or arm and sometimes leg. Fast - face drooping, arm weakness, speech dif culty, time to call 911 early intervention is key. Meningitis - in ammation of the pia mater, arachnoid, and the csf lled subarachnoid space bacterial - more severe.
