Four distinct groups based on age have very different core values. A vacation plan aimed at any of these four groups would have to be adjusted to take the specific cultural value into account. Value dedication and sacrifice, hard work, conformity, law and order, respect for authority, patience, delayed reward, duty before pleasure. Value personal gratification, health and wellness, personal growth. Value diversity, thinking globally, balance, technoliteracy, fun, information, self-reliance, and pragmatism. Optimistic and confident, value civic duty, achievement, Time acts as a major inhibiting factor to travel factor to travel. The desire to travel and the financial ability to travel are insufficient if one does not have time to travel. Maintenance: activities that involved a certain degree of obligation and that are necessary to sustain and maintain life. Work: involves a degree of obligation greater than the time spent in maintenance. Leisure: remaining after work and maintenance activities have been completed.
