Function carry sperm to exterior urine to exterior. Prostate gland (unpaired) located at neck of urinary bladder - benign prostatic hyperplasia (bph) -> can lead to cancer in older men. Coat and lubricate urethra affect activity of female repro tract. Added uid makes up roughly 70% of semen. Function: allows for deposition of sperm in the female reproductive tract.
