Many of the minorities tend to have a larger turnout than that of the whites. Americans exceed the white, hispanics are slowly increasing, and asians are falling behind and have a low voter turnout. When looking at who the different minorities tend to vote for, large differences can be seen. Africans tend to lean towards democrats while hispanics show stats in both parties. The gender gap is the differences between those of women in politics and where men are seen in politics. Generational conflicts are steadily increasing in the field of politics. Older voters tend to have a higher turnout than those that are younger because younger generations fear being. Interest groups are substantial amount of individuals coming together for one or more common opinions/issues. Unlike political parties, interest groups seek to be influential in different aspects of politics rather than try to win the election. The most common types of interest groups are business and economic interest groups.
