Lungs fill most of thoracic cavity: purpose=bring o2 into body and expel waste product co2, nose and nasal cavity. Nose=nasal cavity=divided in center by nasal septum=wall. On each side of cavity are 3 long, bony projections=superior, middle, and inferior turbinates/nasal conchae.
