Hold eye open; flush with warm water for at least 15 minutes or until ems arrives. Cover loosely with sterile dressing moistened with clean water. Reports of looking at a source of uv light. Severe pain occurring 1 to 6 hours after exposure. Cover both eyes with moist, cool cloths. Only disk batteries and live insects must be removed immediately. First aid providers should seek medical care for the person. Do not use tweezers unless object can be seen near ear canal opening.
