Goes to u. s. to find support for revolution. Lead royalist force and faces rebellion south of san antonio. Sends santa anna to kill rebels at nacogdoches. Boundary of texas and louisiana set at sabine river. Spain cedes florida to u. s. for million to pay debts. Leads 300 into texas, claiming it was louisiana purchase. Settles in nacogdoches and declares independence of that area. Spanish sends troops and group moves to new orleans. Jane and kian long stay at bolivar point, galveston bay with 6 year old and pregnant.
