The imprudence of democracy : 1776 vs. 1787. 1787--they want working government which can handle all the problems. Between 1776 and 1787 they understood they don"t have central government. They didn"t have before coz the had an understanding centralized government is evil. 1781- all of them wanted to rectify the articles of confederation: the articles of confederation. Law can only be passed with 9/13 votes. No centralized judiciary: a failed, but noble, experiment. Rhode island always says no for any taxation laws coz of its poverty.
