Christianity is the biggest religion in the world at the moment, and it has been for many years in our history. First factor for this is because christianity is a religion that wants to spread and grow. Back in the roman world and the greek world most religions did not look for converts. As the first christian missionary paul traveled thousands of miles around mediterranean to spread the word of jesus. New testament and preached that the laws of moses should be replaced by faith in. Paul went out to spread the new testament and christianity around the world and collected an enormous audience.
