Statistics is a science that studies the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data, with it we will know how the information should be used and how to give an action guide in practical situations that involve uncertainty. Statistics deals with the methods and procedures to collect, classify, summarize, find regularities and analyze data, as well as make inferences from them, in order to help decision-making and, where appropriate, formulate predictions. Statistical terms and methods are needed to report big data on social and economic trends, business situations, opinion polls, and censuses. Statistics is a tool used in various disciplines, and it is not just polls or pretty graphics. The data is obtained through a process called measurement . From this point of view, measurement can be defined as the process by which we assign a category (or a value) to a variable, for a given unit of analysis.
