North america mostly settled by england and france. The greek, roman, norse civilizations = polytheistic (worshipping many gods) From the arabian peninsula to the caucasus mountains. Also gave rise to monotheism: belief in a single god. Abrahamic faiths were monotheistic - they included judaisim, Different to western civilization due to children being subservient, respecting elders, taking care of parents, etc.
