Right-to-work laws do not guarantee that people have a right to work. They regulate contracts between employers and unions to: prevent closed shops (required union membership, prevent unions from collecing fees from non-union employees (free riders) Primary economic acivity: agriculture, fishing, forestry, mining. Proximity to inputs: if inputs are heavy, bulky or fragile, locate near inputs. Proximity to markets: if outputs are heavy, locate near markets. Site: describes the physical or ixed characterisics of a locaion.
