Most people: figure out quickly the rules to get answer quickly. The rule then changes after 12 cards and you"re told incorrect and you must figure out the rule. Tests: can you figure out the rule and change when it changes. Have trouble figuring out the change in rules - they perseverate. They can"t use environmental input and change their response. Name the color the word is written in. Harder to stop reading what the word is rather than naming the color. Reading is a prepotent response because we are familiar with it. You get 4 decks and you pick from each deck. There"s an underlying rule that you"re not told. Develops sense of taking the best win - the smallest lost. They don"t start edging towards a smaller win.
