Type useful tools, and press enter: click all apps on the start menu and open the windows accessories folder. Notepad and select pin to start: drag the notepad tile to the useful tools group. Drag the title bar of the useful tools group so that the new group is at the bottom corner of the start menu tiles section: right-click the notepad tile, point to resize, and then click small.
