Visible world of the living, invisible world of gods, ancestors, etc. Birds represent the support of women that men must have to rule. Yoruba artists created bronze sculptures better than europe did. Naturalistic art - this world, abstract art - invisible world. Works in bronze and ivory portray leadership. Orishas have the ability to bridge the two worlds. Twins are considered deities and their mothers are honoured. If one twin dies, they have a figure of it that they bathe and take care of.
