Grandeur: one"s importance, often celebrities or gures of importance. Persecution/paranoia: someone is out to get me. Reference: events/tv broadcasts have a message speci cally for you. Somatic delusions: things living in brain/implants in body: hallucinations- false perceptions example hearing voices. Vivid & clear; are completely real to individual. Not under the individual"s control: disorganized speech- language that is incoherent, dif cult to understand. Derailment or loose associations: frequent change in topic in illogical manner. Tangentiality: answers to questions may be vague or completely unrelated. Incoherence word salad : random words strung together. Echoing of words: disorganized/abnormal motor behavior. Negative symptoms: re ect functioning that is below normal level- a decrease in normal functioning; the absence of or reduction in, normal behavior. Affect attening: restriction in range or intensity of emotional expression. Asociality: lack of interest in social relationship.
