Feeling of being above it: look away . Discomfort: being confronted with what could be their own sensuality, and people don"t like being confronted with that idea, what she"s doing is inherently confrontational. They are afraid of these materials and these movements in some way (wakoski: afraid of her confidence, because confidence gives people power, afraid of themselves awakening too much desire that their men could never satisfy (wakoski)
