Document Summary

Citriques transcendence- nothing exists beyond "this world" ideals, god, soul, metaphysics, religion. Nihilist- writes against the values of our culture. But- destroys accepted values as part of a positive project. Everything must be rethought in terms of this world . Every value must be rooted in this world. This world is the expression of the will to power=life. We are too weak to affirm ourselves so we submit to laws of a higher power, we become slaves to this. When you raise an ideal beyond yourself, you lower yourself below the ideal. We resent life and believe it is not the real life. All of our values don"t refer to some beyond, but express our own interpretation of ourselves. So we create our own concepts (such as the transcendent) All about if life is affirmed or denied. Doesn"t care about being true or not true. Nietzsche- just a concept that is an interpretation of reality.
