Antibody proteins secreted by b cells in response to specific antigen. B cells mature in the bone marrow. Removal of all immune cells with receptors capable of reacting with self . Also have cd receptor for mhc 1 molecule. When reacts with mhc releases a cytokine that creates holes in cell + granzymes. Granzymes enter holes to activate nucleases and proteases. Also have co receptor for mhc 2 molecule. Component prevents it fron being degraded (particularly in gi tract) Check for ige and eosinophilia = allergies or parasites. Th2 cells activate b cells that have antigen receptor specific to antigen.
