Some things to keep in mind regarding formal writing assignment and in-class writing assignment: all writing assignments must be individually written, in your own words and sentences. You can share ideas and discuss with your lab partners, but the written part must be your intellectual property: attach cover sheet. See graph on height of potato plants: clear background, avoid black or any shaded background, no extra formatting needed, include caption below the graph. Titles can be included as well: include titles for table/charts that you want to present, staple your report together. Loss of any part of your report may occur otherwise, and no one shall be held responsible, but you. These two are based on graphs you make to represent your data: Independent variable: on x-axis, the one that is manipulated. eg. benzoquinone concentration. Controlled variable: all variables, except the independent variable, that are kept under control.
