Psychoactive parts of cannabis are in the buds (weed) and the resin(hash) of the female plants. The psychoactive ingredient is tetrahydrocannabinol (thc) which acts on the cannabis receptors. The brain has naturally occurring neurotransmitter system which is called the endocannabinoid system which helps to regulate appetite, pain sensation, mood and memory with chemicals that activate the system (the endocannabinoids) Cannabis or the thc in it makes you feel relaxed, talkative & sociable. It can produce a distorted sense of time and space and some people experience paranoia. Benefits: world oldest medicine used mainly to treat spasm and pain. Treatment for people with ms because it helps with spasticity, pain, tremor and urinary bladder control. It also helps for other disorders (phantom pain after amputation) as well as glaucoma and bronchial asthma, as it lowers the pressure in the eye and dilates the small airways of the lung.
