Confucianism teaches social rules, acceptable behavior for everyday living. Daoism stresses cultural elements of beauty, color, mystery. Buddhism presents an organized system of temple, worship and monastic rules and order. All three blend into chinese daily lives of religious practice. The pursuit of harmony and order is the primary theme in chinese religions. Three prominent systems of thought emerges as ways to lessen chaos and increase harmony. These three systems of though differed in regards to their views of human nature and the role the government should play. Role of government was to help provided moral and ethical leadership. Developed into a religion unciation of kong fuzi. Confucianism is in taiwan, korea, vietnam, japan, malaysia, and indonesia. Government provides strong influence, leadership and strict laws. Did not develop into a separate religion but did help shape and influence chinese beliefs. Xiao filial piety; honor and obedience to one"s parents and deceased ancestors: junzi, virtues.
