Document Summary

It can take europeans up to six months from western europe into the south pacific region. Catch the winds that will take you into the south atlantic towards brazil then make that loop go around the cape of south africa and into the seas of the roaring 40s, incredibly rough, strong winds. Go into the south atlantic towards brazil, then continue along that way all the way along southern america until you get to the bottom because then you get to magellan straits and make your way into the pacific. Europeans have a hard time find anything they want there, the demand does not exist. The dutch had sent people into the south pacific but they decided that there is not anything of value. By the late 18th century everyone is sending people to the south pacific, they are not going for profits, they are going for two reasons.
