Teach the concept - not just the text. Create a handout for each student (30 in class + professor) 50% grade is team - how well you work together, fluidity, preparation. 50% is individual - eye contact, gestures, delivery, individual performance. Say what you want people to get out of it and then after the activity, see if it was achieved. Each team member speaks about the same amount of time. Each team will have 15-17 minutes to present. No caps, and other things your professor wouldn"t typically wear. This will be apart of the team grade, not individual. Building on ideas that are triggered by ideas from a partner (synergy) The person who never does their share of the work. You can"t work at your own pace.
