Much of the galaxy has yet to be discovered. Technology is advancing at an incredibly fast rate. Astronomers will always be on the search for a new planet or some further progress in what has already been discovered. Curiosity and imagination play a huge role in science. The development of new telescopes allows astronomers to view the sky more clearly. They probably already have an idea of what is in the universe before they see it, so that has to be neat if what they imagine comes to fruition.
