Exam on tuesday: everything discussed so far will be on the exam. Including the sections you were supposed to read in the textbook: mc, 50 questions. Vocal projection: projection = ability to ll a room with one"s voice. It"s not shouting: shouting can be damaging to the voice, dramatically boring, obscure meaning, and be subtlety and nuance impossible. Movement: movements must be uid and appropriate to the character. A lot of training for actors involve body movement and body awareness. It is not necessarily how t someone is, but how smoothly and gracefully they can move: the manipulation of movement allows actors to build a character based just off visual cues. The more an actor knows his/her body, the better he/she will move.
