People will use physical appearance (clothes, hair, color, etc) to draw attention to themselves. Despite their expressions of extravagant and intense emotions, they seem emotionally shallow. Self-centered, overly concerned with their physical attractiveness. Inappropriately sexually provocative and seductive, and they are easily influenced by others. Have a grandiose view of their qualities and are preoccupied with fantasies of great success. Interpersonal relationships strained by lack of empathy, arrogance, tendency to take advantage of others, and expectations of others. More often are attracted to high status people, including romantic partners. Become envious and aggressive whey they feel others outperform them. Presence of five or more of the following signs of grandiosity, need for admiration, and lack of empathy from early adulthood across many contexts: Belief that one is special and can be understood only by other high-status people. How does one develop narcissism: parenting, overindulgent parents lead children to believe they are.
