This town is always changing based on the market. The economy of coffee gets deregulated and has become volatile - prices change all the time. National government is not involved with the coffee economy anymore. Less social welfare for people involved in the coffee production. People can no longer make a stable living out of coffee; as a result, people start migrating to the us for better economic opportunities. A turn to neoliberalism individuals are making the decisions now. Extremely unstable - as a result, people"s livelihood in the town has become unstable as well.
