It guaranteed them a place to live, money, and clothes. It was attractive work to women for those reasons. Monday, september 25, 2017: irish women stereotype, called a bridget , seen as unintelligent, clumsy, and man- crazy (because some would save their money to create their own dowry so they could get married). Irish women served different roles in the house, like cleaning, cooking, nanny, etc.
