Speech to infants: summary: people speak differently to infants and adults, infant-directed speech is clearer in some ways slower, higher pitched, more pitch change, infant-directed speech helps infants get the message. Voiced: vocal chord starts vibrating before air is released. 0: air is released and vocal chords start vibrating at the same time.
