China and india are leading economic increases. Expansion of economy (inflation adjusted) in uk increased about 7-8x from 1700-1950. Could have potentially been caused by faster rate of growth in population. Poverty crisis in india until ~late 1900s when economy boosted. The us and europe will steadily lose ground to china & india. Many (~103 countries) have decreasing rates of birth. Population growth and increase in health between 1770-1900 due to environmental and nutritional factors. Increase in life expectancy u=is because of medical advancements. Poverty , malnutrition, injury, chronic diseases, etc. Not velocity but acceleration (rate of change) when referring to changes in health patterns.
