Social media"s role in the construction of crime. Laws and crimes are social constructions that are situated within social, cultural, economic and political contexts and shifts and unequal power relations. Crime is the sign of domination but also struggle and contestation about. What conduct is historically, morally, politically, economically and socially not acceptable in a given society. Influential in the modern world that we live in, how we deal with certain people and crimes, depending on how heavily publicized the issue is.
