1934 study of hotels and willingness to have chinese stay. A man traveled around with a chinese couple- some of the hotels where they had a reservation let them stay and others didn"t. When he got home he wrote to every hotel and asked whether he could make a reservation for him and a chinese couple- the responses were different. 1969 meta analysis of 31 attitude- behavior studies: no relationship. Take all of the studies you can find on a topic that have tested a phenomena and look across all of them to see what is the power of the one variable predicting the other variable.
