Part of the self related to a group membership. The extension of the self into the body, clothes, and possessions. You can change how you feel by your clothing. Wearing a suit makes you feel professional. Person feels connected and protective of their car. Authenticity - extent to which a person feels they are living their true selves. Awareness - your motives, strengths, and weaknesses. Unbiased processing - ability to see the good and the bad in the world and make decisions based on this information. Behavior - acting in a way that reflects the true self. Authentic relationships - a relationship in which someone can be who they really are. Cognitive abilities (intelligence and creativity) and classic personality (big 5). Self perceived attitudes, emotions, interests, values, motives, opinions, traits, and wishes. Focused on how the performance of other people influences perception and evaluation of the self.
