Comfort food when feeling down or allow time for social time to alter/control our bodies. Anorexia (and others) are described as an expression of the ultimate female role. Muscle building for males as a desirable traits food as culture and identity. Ice cream - heartbreak, comfort food, guilt turkey - thanksgiving, family, holidays, fall, cup of coffee- first date. Sunday brunch - casual get together with friends or family. Insects (a new trend in the western world that is gaining popularity) sardines/kippers. People tend to classify foods in different ways, according to their culture.
