The rst movement of doubt: you can"t trust your senses. My senses are belief forming facts that have fooled me in the past into believing falsehoods. All faculties that have fooled me in the past are not trustworthy as a certain indication of truth. !1: my senses are not trustworthy as a certain indication of truth, if (3) then none of the beliefs i have based on the sense is certain for me.
