Seeing involves observing the environment, learning through visual sensory information gathered, and using the information for solving problems. Imagining involves the power of imagination and seeing it in the mind"s eye to solve problems. Drawing involves sketching and drawing to communicate with others, to conceive ideas, and to find solutions. Image clarity refers to one"s ability to visualize objects, events, or other phenomena with clarity. Image controllability relates to how much control one may have on the flow or the sequence of a series of events or their timing. Image synthesis relates to one"s ability to synthesize images based on need, as in problem solving: when you look for solutions in your mind, you are actually synthesizing images that do not yet exist. Directed fantasy directs one to fantasize impossible situations. It is used as a mechanism to assist in visualization and bringing abstract thoughts into existence and for communicating thoughts with others.
