Growing number of bacterial infections are becoming resistant to antibiotics. Body can recover from these on its own but some viruses can lead to chronic infections like hep c or hiv. Organisms that survive by living off the host. Usually occurs after the bacteria that normally live in or on the body are disturbed by antibiotic use. Why women commonly get yeast infections after taking antibiotics. Rapid water loss, bodily fluid loss, dehydration and shock w/o treatement death an occur in hours.
