Compassionate care is first and foremost care attentive to the patient and patient"s need (groopman) Compassionate care is recognizing, understanding, and resonating emotionally with another"s concerns, distress, pain or suffering another"s concerns, distress, pain or suffering. Compassionate care is not separate from other kinds of care, nor is it reserved for the end of life.
