In the us, public expenditures the gov"t only pay for half health care costs, much less than elsewhere. However, the us does not follow this trend line. The expectancy is lower in the us than it should be. But, many think that life expectancy is not a good indicator of quality health care. The us is in a better position than all of the countries that spend less than we do. Japan, less that in australia and belgium, comparable with korea, luxemburg and iceland. Light o large numbers of doctor"s o alternative therapy options o nostrums access to pharm o contracts corporations o public health free care to poor, preventative care.
