Wide range in gender norms in food actions. The production and procurement of food has been a major activity. How we get or make enough food is huge. How have humans procured their food over time: food collectors (foragers; hunter; gatherers) Relies on natural resources which are available. And a moving during the year for optimal food collection. Perceptions of food collectors always on the quest for food, gross, disgusting, dirty, a bad life. They work about 20 hours a week: they would socialize, bond, gamble, play with each other, they have a ton of gender equality, more than many agricultural societies. They would have to deal with the consequences. Any that have transferred over have done so because of extreme pressure. Not happy about being planted: neolithic revolution.
