The brain makes possible everything that we do, experience and perceive; It makes us different from the rest of the animal kingdom (somewhat true). Its complexity is enormous and far from being completely understood. It allows interaction between the outer world and mind/process of thinking. Humans have the ability to produce the most beautiful monuments because of the brain such as the cologne cathedral. We also made it to outer space because of the ability of the brain. However, the brain is not an independent organ, it works with many other organs. *******the ultimate function of the brain is to produce movement. Behavioral neuroscience: is the study of the physiological, evolutionary, and developmental mechanisms of behavior and experience. Behavioral neuroscience seeks to describe the physical mechanisms of the body that mediate our movements and our mental activity. We want to be able to describe what occurs. But the ultimate aim is to be able to explain.
