Cadenza: solo, virtuosic passage, usually at the end of the recapitulation. Orchestra doesn"t play during this time, and the soloist improvises. Melodist: someone who has a gift for creating beautiful melodies. It"s a sacred work, a type of oratorio. Usually has 12 movements with pre-set latin text. Supreme architect: beethoven. (i guess it has something to do with, like, building impressive forms and stuff. ) New genre in romantic: fusion of poetry and music.
