1 Introduction:
Fawzia Saluddin,masters in computer science from Fast University,director at
Alchemy Technologies,shared some of her interesting experiences of computer
science.Fawzia Saluddin started her career in Pakistan Railway.She is a PMI cer-
tified PMP and founding member of the Karachi Pakistan Chapter.She worked
at MCB as a consultant and in Uniseys.Fawzia has spent more than a decade
in managing software projects while working with various software companies
around the globe such as in Dubai before joining Alchemy. Her special interests
include voluntary work for the mentoring of project managers and leadership in
the workplace.In this session,Fawzia shares with the students about her work,her
education journey and her goals in life.
2 Alchemy and Delpfi:
Founded in 2003,Alchemy has grown to be one of the Actuarial firms in the re-
gion with a portfolio of several blue chip customers.Alchemy’s product offerings
include Risk Management, Basel II compliant risk solutions for banks, insurance
companies and portfolio managers[1]. Delphi is automotive suppliers delivering
advanced electrical and electronic and safety technologies to vehicle manufac-
turers around the world enabling them to make vehicles that are safer, greener
and better connected.Delpfi (Pascal language) works in Karachi and Germany.
3 Project Manager Professional Certificate-(PMP):
PMP is an internationally recognized professional designation offered by the
Project Management Institute (PMI) for project managers[3].
4 Director:
A director is a person who is in charge of an activity, department, or organiza-
tion.The director should have administrative skills in managing a large number
of individuals,including officers and technicians,as well as prioritizing the work
