Location of developing fetus, capable of great expansion during pregnancy. Cervix is narrow end of uterus at the back of the vagina. Endometrium: rich with blood after ovulation, either fertilized egg implants here or is released during menstruation: ovaries. Produce eggs (ovum) and hormones (estrogen and progesterone) Each egg surrounded by follicle: fallopian tubes.
