When an actor is gaining notes, ask the director the next course of action (going over lines, back on book, etc. ) You cannot maintain the integrity of this. You take all of the notes at the same time. You have to responsible for all of the artistic integrity of the show. Meetings with everyone to get the cue sheet. Fly, sound, scene changes are all good. The first time the orchestra and actors come together. Dance, movement with the orchestra, has to be done before tech. Need to work out the sound of each individual singer, make sure musicians are warmed up. Need to have conversations with director and music director. Be sure that you have enough time to do this. Sound designer and conductor have to agree to move on. Technical rehearsal- where special effects are brought in.
