The conflict process has five stages: potential opposition or incompatibility, cognition and personalization. The bigger the group is and more specialized the group"s activities are, conflict is more likely to happen. Tenure and conflict are inversely related, which means that the more time a person is with an organization, the less likely conflict will occur.
