The internet lets every user of the internet to completely autotomize their experience over personal communication. The internet also allows the personal power to disseminate information globally with one click. No inherent social responsibility is connected to this action. Online users have no obligations to other people who use the internet. This is why journalists have to accept those responsibilities. Public service has always been a part of being a professional journalist. The nature of public service, though, has to adapt to a different environment from other and old print and broadcast media. More information means there is more need for trustworthy sources and guides of and through that information. In today"s environment, all journalistic notions are based on past practices and don"t exist anymore. Accessing information sources is accessible and available for anyone to have. Anyone can instantly disseminate their news globally to anyone they want.
