Provide that empathy to our audience so they can understand what the person is going through etc. Time element is relatively unimportant- they are timeless. For me as an example, if someone if going to talk about me overcoming polio as a kid and becoming a college athlete, the time is relatively unimportant, it just has to be while im a college athlete. There has to be a reason why you are publishing or broadcasting it now. Tend to focus on people in unusual circumstances. Profiles: tell the story behind the people in the news. They concentrate on personality or at least one aspect of personality.
