Us living in america, as the self proclaimed melting pot, everything we do is practically cultural appropriation. The whole point is to share culture and the thing is, american is the only one"s who push to the extreme with this. Japan and china said they love when people where their clothing. For katy perry"s gaysha outfit, the japanese weren"t offended. They interviewed japanese people and they were happy she was wearing the japanese kimono. Japenese people can be really bad at expressing japanese culture to the world. People were also offended katy perry was wearing braids in her egyptian video. She was marked as the queen of cultural appropriation. To say someone can"t wear braids because they aren"t black or dress up as others is ignorant.
